TRAINING FOR TRENCH SHORING

The Meridian campus hosted 47 attendees at this year’s Trench Shoring Competent Person Seminar last week.

The training’s purpose is to educate clients about current OSHA safety requirements surrounding trenching, and to teach them how to recognize and respond to unsafe environments.

“Clients attend this training to understand the rules of a competent person as it applies to trench shoring,” said Rental Sales Consultant Jay Hainline, “They learn about soil conditions, climate changes and appropriate trenching depending on the weather.”

Working with clients to help them be safe on the job is an important part our safety culture. By sharing best practices and offering training to keep operators up to date on the latest safety regulations, we’re teaching others to think, act, and be safe.

  1. Dan Stoddard…looks like our old buddy, Keith Taylor, who was our GME rep way back in the day.
