The last customer appreciation lunch of the summer was held on a clear, chilly day in Missoula. The local Western States team used the opportunity to catch up with customers and friends after a busy summer.

The Boise, ID Touch-a-Truck event was once again a huge. This annual event provided a hands-on opportunity for children of all ages to interact with and explore working trucks of all makes and models. Vehicles on display ranged from construction equipment to vintage trucks and emergency vehicles.
Over thirty Western States Meridian employees participated in the annual FitOne race hosted by St. Luke’s.
Quite a few fresh faces were seen recently as employees from around the company converged on Meridian to attend the new employee orientation last week. Please help us welcome these new team members to the Western States family!
Last week, Meridian held an American Red Cross blood drive. 30 donors were able to provide 27 units of blood (2 units over goal), potentially saving the lives of 81 people. An American Red Cross blood drive was held at Western States Equipment in Pocatello yesterday. With the donations received, they acquired enough supply to potentially save the lives of 42 people. One hour of time equals about three saved lives.

At just 17 years old, Laura Fisher began her career with Western States Equipment. Four decades and four Cat dealer acquisitions later she is on her way to sandy beaches, sunshine and ready to celebrate.
