EPG INFILTRATES THE WATER LINES.

Looking for ways to break into new industries and markets, members from the Meridian EPG team recently attended the Pacific Northwest Section American Water Works Conference in Boise, ID. The idea was to raise awareness and gather engineering insights within the drinking-water industry. If some leads generated out of the deal, so much the better.

Josh Thornton helped organized the event, while Justin Keller, Tim Horting and Jeff Wallace manned the booth, eagerly educating people who thought Western States only dealt in heavy equipment. The group sparked plenty of interest simply by sitting beneath the Western States Cat logo, but the added attraction of a TV raffle pulled people a little closer and helped drive conversation. “We got a few good leads and were able to talk to some engineering people, so I think it was good for us to be here,” Justin said.

At the end of the two-day conference, the EPG team was able to walk away knowing they’d achieved their goals – awareness, information and leads. Check, check and check.
